Planet diplomat Idun Aune is a creative system-oriented designer passionate about creating planet-centric businesses that take responsibility for the unintended consequences of design and explore value propositions for humans, society and nature as a whole. Her expertise is her sense-making skills, unpacking complexity and translating it into a stories that makes sense for people and empower action.

Idun was born with agency: A strong belief in our ability to create a better world. And she is determined to have fun along the way. 

Idun have worked in design and sustainability space for close to a decade and care about building a planet-centric mindset - human by human. She has held roles as sustainability expert, sustainability leader and head of CSR in the global consulting company Capgemini working with national and global clients at a strategic level to deliver sustainable service innovation and help organizations build a culture of sustainability.

Her academic background as a media sociologist affects her design approach, by understanding the networked society and the systemic structures and interests from a holistic perspective. She is impatient for change but patient towards people and organizations' transition towards a regenerative society. 

Idun recently started her own business, respira AS, with a focus on democratizing ecosystem knowledge and helping employees and companies who want to drive sustainable systemic change to succeed with their goals.
